Kingdom Hearts III Release Date For PS4 and Xbox One Announced

You have to wait a few more months to see Sora explore the world again.

Just before the E3 2018 Conference on June 11, Square Enix has announced the official release date for the Kingdom Hearts III. Originally scheduled for 2018 release, the company moved its release date to January 29, 2019.

This may be a bad news for fans who expected for 2018 release, but at least, Square Enix has confirmed the exact release date of the game.

Square Enix designer and director Tetsuya Nomura issued a statement via Twitter about the rescheduled release of the game:

We’ve announced the release day for KINGDOM HEARTS III ahead of E3 at the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra -World Tour-. I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3. Thank you – Nomura

We just hit the second quarter of the year and it seems unreal for Square Enix to announce the exact release date of Kingdom Hearts III. Now that we already know its release date, expect to see more gameplay of the game on Monday during the E3 Square Enix’s Press Conference.

Kingdom Hearts III is the 12th and newest installment for the Kingdom Hearts video game series where it was first announced during the E3 2013 Press Conference.

Kingdom Hearts III will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year.
