Apart from the trading feature in Pokemon GO, PvP mode is also one of the most requested features since then. While Niantic confirmed that PvP is coming to Pokemon GO, there is no timeframe for its release.
But that ends today as Niantic finally speaks out for the official release of PvP mode. According to the recent interview with a Polish magazine, Niantic’s Head of Product Marketing Anne Beuttenmüller confirmed that they are planning to release PvP mode in Pokemon GO before the year ends.
Quoted from her interview with Gram:
Now [Niantic] are working on the PvP mode, which will soon appear. In addition, [Niantic] still working on improving the feature that has just made its debut – it’s all about friends, such as the ability to exchange Pokemon in the game.
[Niantic] are constantly improving the elements that we have available in the game and the next thing that [Niantic] want to add at the end of this year is the PvP mode.
Beuttenmüller’s interview happened last month at an Ingress Cassandra Prime Anomaly in Warsaw Poland. In addition to the plans about the PvP mode in Pokemon GO, she also shared new information about the addition of more Pokemon in the game.
