September’s Pokemon GO Community Day Features Chikorita

Following the steps of Eevee for the Community Day next month is Chikorita. As usual, the exclusive move for the Pokemon was not revealed at the moment.

Chikorita is a grass-type Pokemon that was introduced from the Johto region. Along with Cyndaquil and Totodile, Chikorita is one of the three starter Pokemon of Generation 2. It was first seen on Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.

Pokemon GO Chikorita Community Day will begin on September 22nd and as usual, there will be a time difference for the release on each region. Here’s the start time for the three continents:

  • Asia-Pacific: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (GMT +9)
  • Europe, Middle East, Africa, India: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM UTC
  • Americas, Greenland: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM PDT

Similar to the previous Community Day, the event next month will feature a 3x XP catch bonus and three-hour span of Lure Modules. As always, expect to see the shiny form of the featured Pokemon every Community Day.

In addition to the September’s Community Day announcement, it has also been confirmed that the upcoming Community Day event will have this schedule – October 21st and November 10th. As of writing, we still have no idea who will be the featured Pokemon for the month of October and November.
