Just before the E3 2018 kicks off, Telltale Games announced the release of the first episode of the upcoming video game series sequel The Walking Dead: The Final Season. According to the reveal, the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be out on August 14.
The upcoming sequel title will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One and will be followed by the release of Nintendo Switch version later this year.
In addition to the reveal, Telltale Games also announced that the pre-order of the game will begin on June 8. Pre-order package will include Clementine’s undying zombie adventure and the access to the four episodes once they become available.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season
The Final Season will focus on the development of the character Clementine, making her way to survive the zombie apocalypse, dealing with the undead and living enemies. Clementine is now a refuge in a secluded school where she must continue to protect AJ while facing the new threats and dealing with difficult life choices.
In a recent interview with The Walking Dead series developer, they promised that The Final Season includes unscripted combats, over-the-shoulder camera, and enhanced graphics gameplay. The game is also capable of a 4K and HD gameplay, presumably for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
