Yoshi For Switch Is Still Coming According To Nintendo

Yoshi release date delayed!

Following the recent Nintendo Direct E3 2018 presentation, most of the fans are wondering, what happened to Yoshi? Don’t worry, Yoshi might skip E3 2018 but it is still coming to Nintendo Switch.

Despite the early announcement of Yoshi before the E3 2018, the game was not mentioned during the Nintendo Direct. Not only Yoshi, but the Metroid Prime 4 also missed the event.

Due to the absence of Yoshi during the E3 yesterday, rumors about the cancellation of the game has popped up. Fortunately, Bill Trinen debunked this rumors. In a statement released after the event, Trinen has confirmed that Yoshi for Nintendo Switch is still happening. “We’ll have updates later this year,” Trinen said.

Yoshi was supposed to release this year, but due to some development reasons, Nintendo has delayed. And according to the official Nintendo UK website, Yoshi release date has been set to 2019.

Compared to Metroid Prime 4, Yoshi already has its gameplay demo that was previewed during the E3 2017. While we don’t have the exact release date as of this moment, it is still good to hear the news that Yoshi is still happening.
